Tarot Contemplation: Hanged One

Having a job that has many different moving parts and many people who I interact with on a daily basis it can feel really difficult to embody the hanged one. There is always a deadline to meet, a timeline at risk of being pushed out, information which is being asked for that you don't quite have at your fingertips. It can really lead to feelings of not doing enough, not knowing enough, not being enough. It can be difficult to surrender to the discomfort, trust that this is the right place, know that we are surrendering to move into something better for ourselves.
At this moment right now stop, take a deep breath. Trust that this present moment, you are doing exactly what you should be doing. As you move forward into the next moment, check in with where you are feeling the most discomfort, acknowledge the discomfort but don't do anything. Take another breath.
May we be able to surrender to the discomfort which shows up today. May we live moment to moment, taking our life as a series of snapshots, not a movie we can fast forward or rewind. May we know that growth happens in ways we don't always understand but trust that we are doing it in the best way for ourselves.
