Pick a Card January

Welcome to Aquarius season and Happy Lunar New Year! This first new noon of 2023 is a great opportunity to start sowing seeds for what we want for the year to come.

Take a moment to pause, take a breath, and select the pile that feels right. Scroll down and read the message the cards have for you.

The decks used are Modern Witch Tarot and Threads of Fate oracle deck.

Pile 1

You have things you want to say and you're ready to go right out and say them. Eager, willing, and full of passion, you are sure this is what you should be doing at this moment. Mars and Mercury are no longer retrograde so it seems like it should be the perfect time to start moving. The Sage suggests you slow down just a bit before you spread your word near and far. The things you want to say are important, but it's also crucial that the way we say things is considered. The truth for the sake of the truth does not always yeild the desired results. The message must be true but also said in a way that is not harmful. Take a moment to consider the message, then once you know it's ready, share it far and wide.

Pile 2

The group you desire to share your hopes and dreams with is out there. The joy and excitement that comes with being in community is available to you. To be able to find them, if you haven't already, you need to be your true self. The revolutionary asks you to be willing to shine your light bright. The brightness of your truth will be a beacon for those you are looking to be in community. If you're in community already or not, you have the potential to be a leader for those who feel called to join you. Lean into this role as much as feels right for you at this time.

Pile 3

Right now it feels like you don't have the partnership you once had. The person you were sharing love and companionship with seems to be lacking in reciprocating the feelings back to you. Where you once shared everything, right now things feel a bit one sided. The Pillar asks you to be the support you need at this point in time. Take time to care for yourself, check in with your values, and make sure that what you're holding up is what you wish to continue supporting. If it is, hang on, there are times in every relationship where one person is required to hold things steady for the pair. The support will be reciprocated in the future. If after checking in with yourself, it seems like this partnership isn't worth continuing, steady yourself and know that it's ok to let go of relationships that are no longer working for us. People grow and change, there is no shame in letting go.
